About the Position

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will support the Project Manager in planning, executing, and following up on projects. You will be responsible for your own parts within the projects. You will ensure that the project's components are carried out according to the schedule, budget, and quality requirements, while also contributing to ensuring that the work is conducted according to laws and internal guidelines.

Your tasks include, for example:

• Independently drive parts of the project
• Follow up and update schedules
• Compile procurement documents
• Monitor project finances and update forecasts
• Administer and follow up on the project's risk list
• Represent the projects at certain meetings
• Follow up on contracts

You will belong to the Project Management section and have your workplace at our office in Uppsala Business Park, with the option to use our other office in Librobäck. When work allows, there is an opportunity for remote work.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or equivalent education
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Driver's license (B)
• Familiarity with procurement law, LOU, and LUF is an advantage
• Knowledge of contract law, AB, ABT, and ABK as well as AMA is meritorious

Additional Information

A large part of our operations is classified as essential services because we supply Sweden's fourth largest city with drinking water. For this position, a security check with a background check will be conducted before employment. You must also be prepared to be assigned within the framework of Uppsala Water and Waste's role in total defense. Uppsala Water applies a 6-month probationary period.
